Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the beautiful celebration of our liturgies last weekend on our patronal feast day! From those who first greeted and welcomed parishioners and guests at our doors, until the last chord of strings were heard played, we certainly lived up to the “inspiring worship” portion of our parish mission statement. The liturgy is meant to offer us a foretaste of the Kingdom—I believe our all-encompassing collaboration proved that. If you ever wonder what contributing to our parish endowment fund offers, the possibility of inviting the Bellflower String Quartet (who committed to all three Masses) serves as a perfect example. Thank you to those members for offering us that generous grant.
Topping Sunday evening off with Trunk-or-Treat was a joyful crown to the weekend, especially for our youngest parishioners and guests. The weather could not have been more pleasant—so much to take in, appreciate, and reflect upon as we celebrated our patron saint, Noel. In the words of Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile—you could miss it!”
