THE WEDNESDAY REPORT: October 25, 2023

Dear Partners in Ministry,

What a wonderful weekend! Thanks so very much to all of you for making this feast-day weekend such a joyful, moving, and beautiful celebration of our faith family. From our terrific trio of cantors to the wonderful piece by the bells—not to mention the gorgeousness of a nearly full-strength choir— these Masses were some of the best experiences of worship I've had here so far.

Edward Woodman Funeral

A reminder that we'll celebrate the funeral Mass for Edward Woodman, brother of our fellow music minister Rich Woodman, this Saturday at 11. All members of the Music Ministry family are welcome to give our gifts of ministry to Rich and his family. If you are planning to join us, please email me and let me know (if you haven't already). We'll begin our preparations at 10:30.

Reminders: All Saints and All Souls

All Saints Day: Our All Saints Day (Wed, Nov 1) Masses are at 8:30 am and 7:00 pm. All are welcome to join me in Music Ministry at either Mass.

All Souls Day: Our annual All Souls Day Memorial Mass will take the place of our rehearsal on Thursday night, Nov 2. This will be an "all choir" Mass as well. Please arrive by 6:30 that evening for warmups and such. We remember all those who were buried from our parish in the last year, and invite all to remember the loved ones they have lost as well. The Mass ends with a memorial slideshow in honor of our deceased parishioners, with you as the soundtrack (we'll sing "In Your Dwelling Place" as the slideshow is presented.)

Selections are listed below, and copies are available at the music stand.
