Starting September 3, we're phasing in a brand-new musical setting of our liturgical acclamations. Mass of Encounter was inspired by the profound spiritual reawakening I experienced after two years of pandemic-imposed isolation and distance from liturgy. God’s persistence in calling me back to service at Saint Noel finally breached my walls of stubbornness and hurt, and this family of faith has buoyed my soul ever since. This setting is a gift of gratitude, composed after several months of worship with this extraordinary community.

Liturgy is an encounter with the presence of Christ, in Word, in Sacrament, and with one another. The people of Saint Noel are Christ for me, and I pray that Mass of Encounter will serve as a means of growing closer to Christ for all who are welcomed into this family.
