THE WEDNESDAY REPORT: May 10, 2023

Dear Partners in Ministry,

This week, we remember and celebrate the life of Ken Bollam, our longtime friend, parishioner, and fellow Music Minister. His funeral Mass tomorrow morning will be a joyous and fitting celebration for a man who lived, served, shared, and sang boldly! The Bollam family sends their gratitude to all of you for your love, prayer, and support.

Ken Bollam Funeral May 11

If you are interested and available to serve as music ministers tomorrow, please arrive around 10:20 am; we'll rehearse music as needed, but we'll want to give ourselves some time to allot for setup, getting the children's choir situated, etc.

Music selections for the funeral Mass can be downloaded here.

Summer Schedule

Our Thursdays this summer provide opportunities to acheive three big goals: to stay prepared and grow as ministers; to spend time one on one; and to get some much-needed rest! Here's what I'd like to do with our Thursdays. Please contact me with any concerns or questions...

MAY
25: Last regular weekly rehearsal. Music for May 28–June 25 as needed.

JUNE
1: Taizé Prayer, 7:00 pm, along a Trinity theme. I'd love to see as many of you as possible there in the assembly!
29: Rehearsal night: Music for July as needed. Choral Music Turn-in Night.

JULY
6, 13, 20: SING SESSIONS! A 15-20 minute, one-on-one time with me, to get to know your voice a little better, and to discuss how things are going for you and what you'd like to see in our future. Appointments will be available from 3:00–8:00. (Signups available next week)

AUGUST
3: Rehearsal night: Music for August 6–20 as needed.
10: Women's night! Working in sections to find best balance and blend.
17: Men's night! Working in sections to find best balance and blend.
24: Weekly rehearsals resume
