Dear Partners in Ministry,
I've spent the day creating bulletin worship aids for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday— sure signs that it's getting serious! Want another sign? Check the end of this post; the first two nights of Triduum are now listed (check back on Friday; I'll add audio links where available). You've all been terrific in preparing for these holy days, both in rehearsal and on your own... thank you so much and keep up the great work!
Short and Sweet: Tomorrow's Sectional Rehearsals
Tomorrow's the night: We'll use the hour we've got wisely! Let's begin all together in the church at 7. After a few minutes of preliminaries, we'll split up for sectionals: women in the church with Elke, and men to the Nativity Room with Steve. I'll float between the two sessions to answer questions and such. At 7:50, we'll regroup in the church and sing through Alleluia and O vos omnes, then make way for Nine Nights of Prayer at 8:15 (which you are of course welcome to stay for).
Taizé Prayer March 31
I'm so glad that more of you have signed on for our Taizé Prayer Around the Cross on March 31. Whether you'd like to take a ministry/leadership role or attend as one among the community, please join us! It's a rare opportunity for peace, solace, and meditation in this crazy time.
Holy Week Rehearsal Set for April 4
To make sure all our i's and t's are dotted and crossed respectively, we'll meet for a "dress rehearsal" on Tuesday, April 4 from 7 pm- 9 pm. If you are taking part in any of the Triduum celebrations, please make every effort to be there if you can. Thank you in advance for being willing to go the extra mile!
