THE WOULD-HAVE-BEEN-WEDNESDAY REPORT: June 13, 2024

Dear Partners in Ministry,

Hello all, and happy Saint Anthony's Day to all who celebrate! The Bad Gateways have been breached, and we're back online. Thanks for your patience.

I'm going to be using up some much-needed vacation days over the next two weeks, but I'll be here for all weekend Masses, our Cantor Night and choir rehearsal, and will be on call for funerals as needed. I am going to take a break from the blog during that time too, so this edition will cover the next few weeks' worth of stuff for you (everything I can remember, anyway).

Also: I do intend to send that email survey regarding our upcoming sessions for liturgical ministries, although funerals and weddings are asking a fair bit of my time at the moment. Stay tuned...

Finally: we've been asking for feedback regarding our worship life for two weeks now, and the vast majority of it has been exceedingly positive; your ministry, and the ways in which you engage your ministry, are clearly a big part of that positive experience! Thanks to each and every one of you for all the ways in which you help us fulfill our mission.

Peace be with you,
Tony

All singers and ringers are invited to join us for the 11:00 am Mass on June 23, as we express our enormous gratitude to Elke for her years of above-and-beyond minstry and service at Saint Noel, and to bless her as she goes forth into religious life. The blessing, led by Br. Mick, will take place after Communion in the choir area. Following Mass, we'll hold a reception for Music Ministry in the lower level to celebrate.

June 27: Choir Rehearsal

A reminder that we're back in business on June 27! I'll have an agenda for everyone in the next week or so.

July 4: Independence Day Mass

We will celebrate a 9 am Mass in the church on Independence Day. All music ministers are welcome to join me that morning, and there are still several ministry positions open on MSP if you're willing to step in. After Mass, the campus will close for the holiday.
