THE WEDNESDAY REPORT: November 26, 2025

Happy Thanksgiving! For those of you joining me for Mass tomorrow, we'll get things going at 8:30 am.

GAUDETE FINAL REHEARSAL: We'll hold a final rehearsal for our Gaudete concert on Saturday, Dec 13 from 10:00 a—12:00p. If you are singing, playing,or ringing for the concert, you are expected to attend this rehearsal. I still need to attend to a few variables regarding the order for the concert, but I hope to have this ready to share by the weekend.

CANTAMUS CANCELED: This week, I canceled our parish subscription to Cantamus, the choral rehearsal tool we'd been trying out over the last two years. It became increasingly clear that the registration and usage issues weren't worth the money spent. I've purchased a new tool which wil allow me to create practice tracks on my own with much less effort and with far better results. I'll be putting this new tool into use over the spring.

ADVENT AWAITS: This weekend, Advent is a go! A reminder that with a new season comes new acclamations. We'll switch over to the simple chanted Kyrie from the Order of Mass, the Christmas Season Gospel Acclamation, and Eucharistic acclamations from Mass of Glory.
