THE WEDNESDAY REPORT: February 11, 2026

Dear Partners in Ministry,

It's a momentous week for me, as I celebrate two key anniversaries (and tremendous blessings) in my life! First and foremost, Jenny and I celebrated twenty-five years of marriage yesterday (albeit in "it's a work day tomorrow" fashion; we're planning a trip to Niagra Falls this summer), and Saturday marks my fourth anniversary with you at Saint Noel. In both cases, I'm as grateful as I am astounded at how fast the time has flown!

You'll notice that this week's Wednesday Report is rather trimmed-down. I've been working hard on consolidating resources into the Music Ministry Hub, and have now arrived at a point where all the information I'd normally pack into these posts is now available on the Hub instead. Now, when you visit the Hub page (link at the bottom of this post), you'll find:

  • our upcoming rehearsal agenda
  • the next three weeks of liturgies
  • the Music Ministry calendar
  • Music selections as far as they've been made
  • Rosters for the Parish Choir, Resurrection Choir, and (soon) the Bell Choir
  • Score Exchange (the running list of what scores are going out and coming in)
  • Learning Library (the rapidly growing list of our repertoire with recordings and practice tracks

Having all this in one place makes planning and communication much easier, especially because I'm not trying to wrestle with our website's management system in sharing that information with you. That alone will cut a good two hours' labor out of this process! It also means that you have one link to everything you need to stay prepared and informed as a minister, which is a benefit to us all. Finally, it means that this weekly post to you can stay focused on announcements and updates, like the ones below!

If you have any comments or suggestions for the Hub or the Wednesday Report. please share them (maybe by emailing me from the link on the Hub!).

Triduum Updates: Audio and Practice Tracks, Selections Coming this Weekend

The Learning Library now features practice tracks for our Good Friday reflection, "God So Loved the World," as well album recordings of "Christ Has No Body Now but Yours" (Holy Thursday) and "Now My Heart" (Easter Vigil/Sunday). Get a head start on learning these pieces right away! I also plan on adding music selections for all of Triduum and Easter Sunday by the weekend.

Reminder: Lent Preview Tonight

We're offering our parishioners a sneak peek of our Lenten season this evening, starting at 6 pm with a Mardi-Gras-inspired meal in the Banquet Center and concluding with an introduction to our Gathering song for the season, "Open My Heart." If you'd like to join me in teaching this piece to our parish tonight— or to enjoy a fun and spirit-filled evening in general— I'd love to see you there.

Peace be with you,
Tony
