THE WEDNESDAY REPORT: December 3, 2025

Dear Partners in Ministry,

December is upon us! We have plenty of ways to stay occupied over the next month, so let's discuss what's coming.

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION: Our national patronal feast day is Monday, Dec 8, a holy day. Masses are at 8:30 am and 7:00 pm; we'll meet 30 minutes prior to prepare. Music selections are available with those for Advent and Christmas (link below).

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT REHEARSALS: our next two Thursday rehearsals will be focused on our upcoming Gaudete concert; the only weekend rep we'll touch will be the responsorial psalm, so that our cantors can have a go at their verses for the week. If you are not singing for the concert, you're excused tomorrow night and next Thursday. I'll hand out our concert order tomorrow night so you can get your music organized for the big day.

REMINDER · GAUDETE FINAL REHEARSAL: We'll hold a final rehearsal for our Gaudete concert on Saturday, Dec 13 from 10:00 a—12:00p. If you are singing, playing,or ringing for the concert, you are expected to attend this rehearsal.

CONCERT DAY: We'll begin set up at 1:30 pm. Any volunteers who can help set up chairs, move items, and so forth will be very much appreciated!
Call time for all musicians is 2:30 pm. Please place coats and other personal items in the Resurrection Room; they'll be safe there during the performance. One of Saturday's goals is to finalize our seating order for the concert, and you need to be in your seat by 2:45 for warmups and final preparations. We'll open the church for seating at 3:30, and kick things off at 4:00.

CHRISTMAS: And, of course, there's Christmas! Mass times are 4:30 pm (not 4:00 pm, as was inadvertently posted in the bulletin), 7:00 pm, and 10:00 on Christmas Eve, and 11:00 am on Christmas Day.

Peace be with you,
Tony

REHEARSAL AGENDA: December 4 and 11, 2025

As mentioned above, our next two Thursdays will be devoted to the Gaudete concert. If you won't be singing with us, you're off the hook.

Come, O Lord: We'll give the weekend's cantors a chance to run their verses.

After that, it's all Gaudete rep!
