Well, there went my streak. In all the busy-ness yesterday, I forgot to write you! So, here's a belated but nonetheless sincere update.

I have so many reasons just from this last week to be grateful to you all, from your absolutely wonderful ministry during our celebrations of All Saints and All Souls to the weekend of terrific concerts that several of you volunteered for or came to enjoy; from your compassionate ministry to grieving families to your always-amazing service in our weekend Masses. You've given me plenty of reasons to smile broadly and rejoice profoundly, and I can't thank you enough for it.

I took today off, and so should you. Since you've been here so much this week already, take tonight off and rest up for the weekend.
