Dear Parishioner,
St. Noel
Youth Ministry provides spiritual growth, education and peer community
to the high school members of our parish. Every Sunday the Prime
Time Youth Ministry meets to share faith, food, and relationships.
Throughout the year there are opportunities for retreats, service
projects and social events. To offset the cost of this ministry
our youth group is sponsoring a pancake breakfast on Father's Day,
Sunday, June 20 th . It will take place in our large hall from 10:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For $5.00 ($2.00 for kids) you will receive pancakes,
French toast, sausage, potatoes, juice and coffee. Since June 29
th is Father's Day, please consider bringing your father with your
family and friends and enjoy a great breakfast for a good cause.
Another
project of the youth group is to enable twelve teens to travel to
Detroit the week of August 1-7 to serve to the poor as part of Young
Neighbors in Action, a national organization that will allow 2,500
young people to become involved
in service this summer. In order to cover the expenses of this trip,
teens from our parish will be “selling stock” after Masses on the
weekends of June 12/13 and June 19/20. By purchasing stock ($10.00
but any donation is accepted) you will be investing in our youth
and entitled to participate in a report of the “dividends” of this
project presented by the youth after their return. Your investment
will permit real spiritual gains for the young people of St. Noel.
Please consider underwriting this important service effort.

In time for the Olympics, this year's Vacation Bible School theme
is SonGames. Many countries are represented at the Olympics and
we thought it would be fun for the VBS kids to learn some greetings
from a variety of countries. VBS is the week of July 19 and meets
from 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Could you join us one morning? Call
Marianne Slattery at 440-946-1128 x 21 if you would like to help.
