Dear
Parishioner,
St.
Noel Lenten Fish Fries have been a part of our parish tradition
from the earliest days of our Banquet Center. Not only do they provide
an enjoyable way to mark the season of Lent, they also generate
substantial profits for our parish allowing us to support many of
our community's ministries.
The
fish fries could not be successful without the hours of volunteer
service provided by our parishioners. Set-up, serving, and clean-up
time, freely donated, dramatically increases our profit. Therefore
I would like to thank all of the parishioners who worked the fish
fries this year.
In
the six fish fries we served 5,467 people and realized a profit
of $21,482.16 for our parish. Chef Randy has informed us that we
served:
2,760
pounds of lemon pepper cod
1,390
pounds of fried white fish
54
gallons of tarter sauce
700
pounds of cole slaw
6,534
breadsticks
2,450
pieces of chocolate cake
1,260
pieces of orange cake
2,345
pieces of carrot cake
1,155
pieces of banana cake
Thanks
to everyone involved for a job well done.
Fr.
George Smiga
