Dear Parishioner,
Every Friday
of Lent we have been walking the Stations of the Cross in church.
This Friday will be your last opportunity to join us for this devotion
and it will be a special one.
For
a number of years we have been able to schedule an ecumenical prayer
opportunity during the Lent-Easter season. Because of changes in
several of our local Christian communities we were unable to provide
that opportunity last year. This Friday, however, Pastor Mike Teston
and members of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church will be
joining us here at St. Noel for the Stations of the Cross. Although
the stations are clearly a Catholic practice, Pastor Teston thought
that it would be a good experience for his community to be exposed
to our tradition and at the same time provide a common way for us
to pray together. The stations will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the church
followed by fellowship in the narthex.
Please
consider joining us this Friday not only to pray the stations but
to welcome our brothers and sisters from Willoughby Hills United
Methodist Church.
Fr.
George Smiga
