Dear Parishioner,
Youth
Ministry at St. Noel continues to make a difference in the lives
of our teens. Our high school youth group, PRIME TIME, offers opportunities
for spiritual enrichment throughout the year. Whether a COR retreat
in Avon, a FoodFast with Divine Word Parish, our weekly youth group
meetings and GIFT sessions, or a summer service trip to Toronto,
every teen has a chance to be involved and deepen their relationship
with Christ.
To
help with these regular and special activities PRIME TIME organizes
a number of fundraisers during the year. Many of you enjoyed the
delicious pancake breakfast last month that raised over $700.00.
This spring as in the past, the youth group will sponsor an Easter
ham sale, and I encourage you to participate. These spiral-sliced
hams have been a great success because they are both economical
( 4.75/lb ) and delicious. In fact we have provided
more than 200 hams to satisfied families over the last three years!
Chef Randy has worked with our supplier to ensure these hams are
of the highest quality –fresh, never frozen, fully cooked and vacuum-sealed.
You can pick them up right here at the parish during Holy Week.
To
place your order, please call or e-mail Anthony (440-946-1128 X
20 or acamino@stnoel.org ).
Hams are available in half (6-8 lbs) and whole (13-16 lbs) sizes.
St.
Noel is proud of our teens! Thanks for all you do to support PRIME
TIME and all our youth ministry efforts.

people are displaced and 3.5 million of our sisters and brothers
are at risk of starvation. Bishop John Ricard of the U.S. Conference
of Catholic Bishops recently said: “The crisis in Darfur must be
ended. We cannot stand idly by while human life is threatened.”

TEENS
RIDE TO END THE DEATH PENALTY -
Jill Bartollota,
one of our teen parishioners who is a Junior at Regina High School

bike ride is to rid Ohio of the death penalty. They will leave Friday,
April 7 and will return Monday, April 10. Along the way area churches
will provide the students with meals and shelter. Once they arrive
in Columbus, they will join with other students at a rally and then
the petitions collected will be given to the senators voting on
matters concerning the death penalty. Jill asks that all those interested
in stopping the death penalty in Ohio sign her petition. She will
be out in the narthex after all Masses on March 18/19. Anyone in
ninth grade or above is eligible to sign the petition. She thanks
