Dear Parishioner,
Our building
project is drawing to a close. Parish offices have been relocated
in the new wing and PSR has begun to use the lower level for classes.
Pre-school and the nursery will soon follow. The former parish offices
are now being remodeled into additional meeting space. We hope to
have the new wing landscaped by the end of the year. Finishing touches
will of course continue for several months. But it is time to plan
a celebration of the successful conclusion to our project.
After consultation
with our Parish Council, we have invited Bishop Pilla to join us
on Friday evening, October 17th to celebrate what we have been able
to accomplish through your involvement and support. The program
will begin with evening prayer at 7:00 p.m. in our church with Bishop
Pilla presiding. Afterwards, there will be a reception in the narthex
and new wing. You will be able to visit with the Bishop and view
all areas of the new wing. In this way you can more easily appreciate
the wonderful new facility which will now serve our community.
Further details
will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead but please mark your calendars
and plan to join us on October 17.

call forth others to continue this important ministry. There will
be a four-week formation and discernment process beginning Wednesday,
October 15th for those who would like to explore the possibility
of serving our parish and the larger community in this manner. Please
prayerfully consider whether or not you might be able to offer your
time and talent by being part of the Commission. Also, think about
other parishioners you know who have a concern for carrying out
the works of charity and justice that you might encourage to consider
this invitation. For more information, please call Alice Hinkel
