The great Feast of Christmas will soon be upon us. As your pastor, I ask you to make your Christmas celebration one which reflects the true spiritual meaning of the season. On Christmas, we celebrate the great gift of God's only son becoming human like us. This mailing lists the schedule of Christmas liturgies so that you can plan to worship with your family and parish community.
Because Christmas falls on a Saturday, please note that there will be no evening 5 p.m. Vigil Mass on Christmas Day for the Feast of the Holy Family. The Masses for Holy Family will take place on the day itself, December 26 th at 9 and 11 a.m. Note as well, that January I s this year is not a Holy Day of Obligation. Therefore, the 5 p.m. that day will be a Vigil Mass for the Feast of the Epiphany. Again, I ask you to keep in mind that the Masses on Christmas are crowded, especially the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve. So, please come early.
On behalf of myself and our entire staff, may I take this opportunity to wish you a blessed Christmas and peace and joy in the upcoming year.
