Thanks
for your interest in the Adult Enrichment Committee! We are
an active group always in need of new thoughts and ideas.
Our task is to provide quality offerings which help meet the
spiritual and educational needs of the parish.
So
how is this accomplished?
| FORM
A TEAM: |
Build a cohesive team committed to adult formation as a means of supporting the spiritual growth of our parish and willing to listen to ideas of parishioners.
|
| TO
PLAN: |
Based
on some assessment of our community's needs in this area
by means of survey, suggestions and interest.
|
| TO
IMPLEMENT: |
Using
quality resources both within and beyond the parish; using
sound Catholic theology.
|
| TO
EVALUATE |
Repeat
the cycle by planning and implementing ideas based on
the evaluation of the programs offered. |
What
are the expectations of someone on the team?
- Willing
to be "team" players and to learn from each other
- Willing
to listen to what the parish is looking for in educational
and spiritual enrichment
- Willing
to meet monthly (some work between meetings may be required)
- Willing
to make a two year commitment to the AEC to follow through
with ideas
- Willing
to pray about your work! (To determine God's plan for us
and St. Noel)
What
are the benefits to someone on the team?
- Personal
learning and spiritual growth
- Working
with and getting to know others who share a common interest
and faith
- The
satisfaction of helping to nurture the faith and spirituality
of your parish community
Being
a part of the AEC does not mean you must attend everything
the committee offers or serve in a leadership capacity for
group activities, although you are welcome to! You may feel
more comfortable helping to set up for an event and remaining
"behind the scenes". We are mainly looking for fresh ideas
and input on ideas already
under consideration.
If you
are interested in serving on the AEC or have more questions
about what is involved, please call Marianne Slattery at 440-946-1128
x21 or email her at " contact us ".
This is a wonderful opportunity to assist your parish in providing
a more vibrant atmosphere for our faith to grow.
